What a lovely couple.. We stayed at The Chimes during jan/feb 2012 for 8 nights and didn't want to leave.It has a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere which is very much down to the owners Richard and Veronica. Would recommend. Thanks again for a lovely week... x

Could'nt Be Faulted

The Chimes is an excellent Bed and Breakfast and is everything that the web site says.
The room was clean and to a high standard.
At breakfast i was given orange juice, plenty of choice cereals,a cooked breakfast to your choice,toast and a freindly chat with the owners over a mug of tea (which I find I know miss)something that has not been bettered elsewhere.The Chimes is in a quiet location considering that its only minutes to the centre of town.I enjoyed my break at a bed and breakfast that coul not be faulted and hope to book again sometime next year.

I stayed at The Chimes with my two daughters for one night. The room was large with 2 singles and 1 double bed. It was very airy and well presented. The en-suite seemed quite new and was fantastic. All areas of this property are well maintained and clean. We had a very pleasant stay. Breakfast was lovely. Nothing was too much trouble.

Perfect Stay

What a warm and friendly welcome! Actually everything was fine. Our familiy room was large and clean, breakfast was delicious. Although the house is situated nearby the beach and the town centre, it is quiet.

Good Holiday

I found the chimes to be an excellent choice of guest house. It was clean, convieniantly positioned and had a real good atmosphere. The owners, Veronica and Richard are a lovely, friendly couple. The room and breakfast were very good.
We really enjoyed our stay and we will be going back.

Very Nice!

Only stayed one night but were very pleased with our room and the overall visit. Great to have off road parking and such a large bathroom. Great breakfast too. Would stay again and recommend as excellent value to anyone else.

Very Welcoming!

Sad it was only a short stay. Very helpful and welcoming. Clean and tidy with hot drink facilities in room. Excellent breakfast to start the day! Will definitely recommend and stay again. ps, so handy with on site parking, so difficult to park in Great Yarmouth!

May 2011 Weekend

My wife and I have stayed in many Guest Houses in Great Yatmouth. Non have made us more welcome than The Chimes. In a nice quiet corner opposite the Football Ground you are guaranteed a good nights sleep. Exceptionally clean. Exellent breakfast. Fantastic hosts.
